Chocolate Anatomy

Our 19th baker at Baker X @ Orchard Central is Chocolate Anatomy, operating from 6 April to 3 May 2023. We spoke to founder Rachael to find out more about her journey. 

With her love for pastries and all things chocolate, Rachael started Chocolate Anatomy with no background in pastry but with one dream in mind, which is to open a 10-seater café in time to come. 

What kicked off this project was her love for chocolate truffles, and she just had to try making it herself as it was a rather costly snacking habit. A tailored recipe of chocolate truffles ended up surprising everyone.

Chocolate Anatomy works mostly with chocolate desserts, with their signatures being truffles, brownies and chocolate cake. Now, they dedicate themselves to creating desserts that work around with a multitude of flavours the world has to offer, and of course, chocolate.

Being a part of Baker X @ Orchard Central

  

Rachael hopes to gain some experience and insights as to whether a storefront would be something she could consider for the near future for her growing business.

Baker X @ Orchard Central is a project to give budding home-baking entrepreneurs the opportunity to trial with a physical outlet and scale their business.

 

Through this initiative, Far East Organization aims to encourage the entry of new brands and enhance the business ecosystem in Singapore by providing customers with more choices and encouraging greater diversity.

 

Bakers work in a fully equipped baking studio and café, a physical space provided to them at no cost, over a period of 2 to 6 weeks to bake and sell.
