Pomedochi

Our 16th baker at Baker X @ Orchard Central is Pomedochi, operating from 21 December 2022 to 4 February 2023. We spoke to founder Caroline to find out more about her journey. 

Pomedochi is an extension of Caroline where she incorporates her passion for food and art into the business. She enjoys the adrenaline rush from the process of being inspired by a new idea, seeing it come to life, and being able to share it with others. Knowing that her creations would be part of people’s celebrations, acts of kindness and expressions of love makes what she does very meaningful and worthwhile. 

Pomedochi was created with the belief that food is an experience that reminds us of our favourite places, gatherings and acts of kind gestures for ourselves and others.

Being a part of Baker X @ Orchard Central

This project provides Caroline an opportunity to experience and learn what it is like to operate a physical store. She hopes to increase brand credibility, awareness, and business opportunities as well.

Pomedochi will be offering their signature as well as new seasonal bakes!

Look forward to their signature tarts with flavours ranging from Yamaimo, Lemon Yuzu Meringue, Araguani Moonlight, Pistachio Raspberry, and Rose Jardin. Get your hands on the Mango Mochi Pebbles made from Taiwanese Mochi with whole seasonal fruits too.

About Baker X @ Orchard Central

 

Baker X @ Orchard Central is a project to give budding home-baking entrepreneurs the opportunity to trial with a physical outlet and scale their business.

 

Through this initiative, Far East Organization aims to encourage the entry of new brands and enhance the business ecosystem in Singapore by providing customers with more choices and encouraging greater diversity.

 

Bakers work in a fully equipped baking studio and café, a physical space provided to them at no cost, over a period of 2 to 6 weeks to bake and sell.
