Our 36th baker at Baker X @ Orchard Central is Oatsome, operating from 7 February to 3 April 2025. We spoke to founder, Cheree, to find out more about her journey.

Cheree and her husband, both avid fitness enthusiasts, shared a craving for delicious desserts that wouldn't compromise their healthy lifestyles. They started experimenting with overnight oats, turning them into exciting flavour creations. This passion for healthy baking grew, leading to Oatsome - a bakery dedicated to nourishing and enjoyable treats.

They saw a void in the breakfast market for convenient, tasty, and healthy options. Oatsome was born, offering more than just breakfast – their creations are perfect pre/post-workout snacks too. They infuse adventurous flavours like hojicha and pistachio dark chocolate into the overnight oats, making them a daily delight.

"Oatsome" perfectly captures their brand: clean, wholesome food that's truly awesome.

About Baker X @ Orchard Central

 

Baker X @ Orchard Central is a project to give budding home-baking entrepreneurs the opportunity to trial with a physical outlet and scale their business.

 

Through this initiative, Far East Organization aims to encourage the entry of new brands and enhance the business ecosystem in Singapore by providing customers with more choices and encouraging greater diversity.

 

Bakers work in a fully equipped baking studio and café, a physical space provided to them at no cost, over a period of 2 to 6 weeks to bake and sell. The cafe also houses home-based e-commerce coffee business, Sabana Coffee, which opens on Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm to 7pm, closed on public holidays.
